Here's How It Works:

Cashing in your quality used gear at Play It Again Sports® is fast, easy, and profitable. You're just six simple steps away from a happy ending:

1. Clean out that closet, garage or basement!
2. Load up your quality used brand name sports and fitness equipment and bring it to our store.
3. Check in with a sales associate to review what you have to sell and exchange.
4. While you check out the latest arrivals in the store, your sales associate will review your items based on condition, brand and the store's current stock levels.
5. Your sales associate will determine the value of your items and make you a cash offer or negotiate any trades or upgrades you desire.
6. You walk out of the store with new gear, a check in your pocket or both!

Of course, what sells in one location may not be a hot item somewhere else. We sure try but we can't buy everything.

2010 CASH POLICY:

Only the store managers, Jim and Sean are authorized to accept items for cash. Please be advised that sometimes they are not present at the store. Normally, there will be a store manager in on M-W-F after 1:30-2:00 PM and on T-TH in the morning.

The only exception to this rule is items we buy in bulk, such as used balls (Golf/Baseball/Softball/Tennis) and used weight (plate/cast iron dumbbells).

2010 CONSIGNMENT AND TRADE IN POLICY

To our Valued and Loyal Customers:

We have some guidelines regarding equipment buys and trade-ins that you should be familiar with!

1. We have three basic options for taking your quality used sporting goods:

§         CONSIGNMENT: We can take your item for consignment and split the price with you 50% of the selling price when the item sells. You get the most out of this option!

§         TRADE IN: This option allows for more instant gratification. You get 35% of what we would sell the item for INSTANTLY in store credit. This way you can trade in or trade up gear that has been outgrown.

§         CASH: Some items can be taken for cash. This is mainly reserved for items we purchase bulk quantities of such as baseballs, tennis balls and used weight – On average you get 25% of the sale price. Only STORE MANAGERS are authorized to give cash for your items and any other item may be taken at the discretion of the manager.

2. To offer the best equipment possible, we are selective in taking used equipment:

§         Play it Again Sports of Hamilton, NJ reserves the right to select used items based on several factors such as floor space, inventory and need. We are not obligated to take your equipment but we are always happy to have a look! There are some things we always need, some things that vary based on stock and some things that we never take at all!

§         We can only provide an EXACT quote when the equipment is seen in person. We can give you a broad price range based on past purchases via e-mail but we cannot guarantee you a price until we physically inspect the items thoroughly.

§         We sell only what we would personally stand behind. Therefore we only take quality used sporting goods. Items which are: Damaged, ripped, oxidized, molding, pungent odored, cracked, dented, bent, gouged, too old and missing important pieces will not be accepted.
